De show in Vegas op het eerste live-album van Frank Sinatra is “Possibly the most exciting engagement of my professional life” volgens Sinatra zelf. Hij was bijzonder vrolijk en bespeelde het plubliek met leuke plagerijtjes en een humoristische monoloog tijdens ‘the tea break’.
Op deze cd hoor je Sinatra te veel songs spelen om op te noemen, terwijl een jonge Quincy Jones het machtige Count Basie Orchestra dirigeert met zijn eigen meeslepende arrangementen.
