De Italiaanse tenor Andrea Bocelli maakt voor de allereerste keer een album samen met zijn 24-jarige zoon Matteo Bocelli en zijn 10-jarige dochter Virginia Bocelli, die beiden het muzikale talent van hun vader hebben. ‘A Family Christmas’ vangt de feestelijke kerstsfeer met nieuwe vertolkingen van traditionele kerstliederen waaronder ‘Away in a Manger’, populaire kerstsongs zoals ‘Feliz Navidad’ én een gloednieuwe track, speciaal geschreven voor dit album, genaamd ‘The Greatest Gift’. “Singing each of these songs together, sharing the emotions associated with a holiday that express familial warmth and love, was and will continue to be our personal gift, given and received, to be unwrapped under the tree, which we will cherish the rest of our lives.”
